Stowage
Surviva liferafts are stowed in glass reinforced plastic (GRP) containers which can be secured into specifically designed deck cradles.

Elliot offers a complete line of inflatable rafts and IBA’s
for Military, Merchant Marine, Commercial Fishing,
Passenger and Recreational vessels and other marine
applications. Our rafts are U.S. Coast Guard - SOLAS
approved and also carry the approvals of various
worldwide authorities. Elliot Life Rafts are packed in
rugged deck mountable fiberglass containers. Small
in profile, the Elliot life raft container remains secure
and resistant to the harsh marine environment.

The Elliot design is manufactured using polyurethane coated nylon, fabric and is high frequency welded for added consistency & durability. Urethane polymers are renowned for their abrasion and cold cracking resistance and are much less affected by: hydrolysis, ozone attack, fuel and chemical attack compared to other materials used in the life raft industry.
Davit Launch Life Rafts are also available for shipboard and oil/gas platform applications.
